A couple of nights ago, Fuschia, Jess and I went to a group led by the wonderful journalist Sarah Berry, called Fannying Around. The group is a woman-only (and pre-op transmen, sometimes) gathering at Sh! The Woman’s Erotic Emporium, a sex shop in Hoxton Square, where about 12 ladies get together to discuss gender, their lady bits and so forth. We were the night’s ‘guest speakers’, and chatted about our work and our relationships with our bodies.

We met the fabulous erotica writer KD Grace, who will be doing a reading of her new novel later this month, and she’s asked us to artistically interpret some of the scenes, and the work will be shown at the reading… WE ARE VERY EXCITED!
We’ve also become Sarah Berry’s ‘sponsors’ - we’ll come and do talks and make work, and she’ll promote us to the hilt, and write about us on her (very widely read) blog…
I’m about to start a commission for a friend who wants to send some things back to her native New Zealand, and a commission for Sarah Berry who wants some of the nipple badges I make from pornographic magazines.
